Issued from 1971-1978, the Eisenhower Dollar honors the legacy of General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower while commemorating the achievements of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Struck in a 40% Silver composition for collector editions, these historic dollars remain a popular choice among both U.S. coin collectors and Silver investors.

Obverse: Features a left-facing portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower with the inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," along with the date. The mint mark appears below Eisenhower's neck.
Reverse: Showcases the Apollo 11 mission insignia, depicting an eagle descending toward the moon while clutching an olive branch. A small Earth appears above the lunar horizon, with the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and the denomination "ONE DOLLAR."
