Monopoly, the iconic board game has a rich history! Tracing its roots back to 1903 when it was originally created by Elizabeth Magie under the name "The Landlord's Game." Magie's intent was to use the game as a teaching tool to illustrate the negative aspects of land monopolies. However, it wasn't until the 1930s that the game gained widespread popularity when Charles Darrow developed his own version of the game.
