Engelhard Corporation was founded in 1902 as the American Platinum Works by Charles W. Engelhard Sr. in Newark, New Jersey. The company initially focused on refining platinum for jewelry and industrial uses.
All of these 10 oz Engelhard Cast Poured Silver Bars are available inside individual plastic bags. These bars feature a unique version of the Engelhard logo. Known as the Bull logo, it has small additions to Engelhard’s traditional octagon logo design.
The obverse of the 10 oz Engelhard Cast Poured Silver Bar comes with all of the hallmarks and designs for the bar. At the center is the Engelhard Bull, the company logo with the addition of a circle and half-circle on the left of the logo to mimic a stylized bull. Other markings include the weight, purity, and a serial number. On the reverse, these 10 oz Cast Poured Silver Bars from Engelhard are blank.
