The 2020 1oz Somalia Gold Elephant Coin is one of the most popular and beautiful Gold coins produced by the Bavarian Mint. This coin was introduced in 1999 and until 2003 they were sold as Zambian Elephant Series. In 2004 the Bavarian Mint started to produce the coins in behalf of Somalia. Each 2020 1Somalia Gold Elephant Coin contains one troy ounce of fine gold and a legal tender value of 1000 Somalian Shillings. The obverse of the 2020 1oz Somalia Gold Elephant Coin depicts the coat arms of Somalia while the reverse is showing two bush elephants facing each other with the Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
The Somalian Elephant - African Wildlife Series coins are also available in fractional weights: 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, 1/25oz and 1/50oz. The 2020 Somalia Gold Elephant Coin is also available in silver or platinum.
