I hope everyone is doing well. I'm happy to be back on the road again. This weekend, I'm at the Tennessee State Numismatic Society show in Chattanooga, TN. The first day of trading has been brisk. A number of items have sold and were taken down from this site.
I was able to buy some great certified Type Notes including a Porthole, a Bison, and a Tombstone. I also picked up a 1924 Peace Dollar in PCGS MS-66+. It's amazing. In 67 it's 4 times the price. We're offering it at $2,000. One sold at Legend recently (MS-66+) that was not as nice for $1,600.
The 1894 Morgan Dollar in NGC EF-40 is very very strong for this grade. Looks 45/50 and has a great look. Along with some great type coins, I picked up two very flashy Seated Liberty Dimes an 1887 in PCGS MS-65 and an 1889 in PCGS MS-64.
These coins will not be back in the Fairfax store until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Yes, it's a long road-trip for me. You can purchase them in the online store before I get back.
