Rarely encountered Gold from the Dominican Republic celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Trujillo dictatorship. Rafael Trujillo, also known as El Jefe, ruled the Dominican Republic until his assassination in May 1961.
Coin Highlights:
- Contains .8572 actual Gold weight.
- Coins will be in AU (almost uncirculated) condition, and will arrive in 2x2 vinyl flips.
- Obverse: Left facing portrait of Rafael Trujillo, date and "TRVJILLO PADRE DE LA PATRIA NUEAVA" which translates to "Trujillo father of the new homeland".
- Reverse: Dominican coat of arms, denomination, purity and "XXV ANIVERSARIO DE LA ERA DE TRUJILLO" which translates to "25th anniversary of the Trujillo era".
