Each 1.5oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaves (sometimes called the Super Leaf) is composed of 1.5 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. This coin was produced in a limited mintage from 2015-2017. The obverse of the 1.5oz Canadian Silver Super Leaf displays Susanna Blunt’s design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a right facing bust. The reverse features the maple leaf image used on the "Million Dollar Maple Leaf", a 100 kg old coin first produced in 2007, with weight and purity listed below. New micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark shows a 15, 16, OR 17 when viewed under magnification. This is part of the RCM's anti-counterfeiting technology.
